Bonding SiCp/Al Composites via Laser-Induced Exothermic Reactions

چکیده

In this paper, the SiCp/Al composites were bonded via laser-induced exothermic reactions of a Ni–Al–Zr interlayer. The interlayer was designed based on its property and chemical compatibility with composites. influences composition bonding pressure joint microstructure shear strength investigated. Results indicated that high occurred in realized reliable products eutectic structure NiAl+Ni2AlZr+Ni3Al5Zr2. NiAl3 Ni2Al3 reaction layers formed at interfaces. determined morphology distribution voids layers, thus controlling strength. When using Zr content 15 wt.% under 3 MPa, reached maximum 24 MPa.
